The Department of Health has announced 98 more cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 29,303. No more people have died from Covid-19 in Ireland, meaning the death toll remains at 1,777.
In Northern Ireland, there has been 61 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed during past 24 hours. This brings the cumulative number of cases to 7,503.
One more person has died from the coronavirus in the region, taking the official toll to 564. This is the first time since early July that there has been Covid-19 deaths on three consecutive days in the North.
