COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan authorities have decided to impose power cuts on Monday (28).Monday (28)Groups PQRSTUVW:2 hours and 15 minutes from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM1 hour 50 minutes from 5:30 PM to 11 PMGroups ABCDEFGHIJKL:3 hours and 20 minutes from 8 AM to 6 PM 1 hour 40 minutes from 6 PM to 11 PM

PUCSL permits to extend power cuts by one hour

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) states that due to the unexpected high energy demand during the weekend, the PUCSL has permitted for the existing power cuts to be extended.The decision has been reached at the Ceylon Electricity Board’s request, and accordingly, power cuts for areas P,Q,R,S,T,U,V and W between 9 AM until 3 PM will be extended by one hour for today (27).The existing power cut schedule for today (27) will be thus amended as follows;Sunday Groups PQRSTUVW:1 hour from 9 am until 3 pm2 hours from 3 PM to 11 PMGroups ABCDEFGHIJKL:2 hours and 15 minutes from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM 1 hour 15 minutes from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PMPower Cut Schedule: Click Here
