Confirmed cases of COVID-19 top 1 million worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins
The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus across the world passed 1 million for the first time, according to data from Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center.As of afternoon of April 2, the total confirmed case count in the world was 1,002,159. Nearly one-fourth of those cases are in the United States which has 234,462, according to the Johns Hopkins data.
