The observance of this day, includes wearing a poppy, wreath-laying and a brief period of reflective silence to remember those lost to war.On Saturday night, prominent royals will attend the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

Typically, the Queen will also be present at the key event. This year due to her health scare last month, the Queen will not be present at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
