Plan B of Covid restrictions could soon be implemented by the government to tackle the Omicron variant, it has been reported.
According to reports in the Financial Times, Boris Johnson could announce the new measures as soon as today. In the autumn Sajid Javid said Plan B could be used in the event of a coroanvirus surge.
The government's Plan B would prioritise public measures to help control the spread of the virus while minimising its impact on the economy and social life.
