Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A total of 126 deaths in West Dunbartonshire are now linked to Covid-19, new figures published today by National Records for Scotland show.The deaths, registered in the week beginning August 17 and week beginning September 7 came after the area had gone for six consecutive weeks without registering a death linked to the virus.In Argyll and Bute meanwhile the figure remains at 64, with the area not having reported a death where Covid was mentioned on the death certificate since the week beginning May 25.Across the country five deaths linked to the condition have been recorded over the past week.
