Wendy Williams Denies 'All Allegations' About Her Mental Health Amid Legal Battle With Bank

Wendy Williams is speaking out. Earlier this week, a number of reports circulated that the talk show host was “incapacitated” and in need of guardianship.

Her bank claimed that they had reason to believe she was “the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation” and had frozen her account accordingly. Wendy‘s lawyer put out a statement on Friday (February 11) to refute the allegations. Click inside to read more… The star’s attorney LaShawn Thomas told ET that “Wendy wants the world to know that she strenuously denies all allegations about her mental health and well-being.” He also offered more information as to why she was in a legal battle with her bank. “Wendy had to unfortunately bring this action because Wells Fargo has refused to honor her Power of Attorney, granting her son authority to make inquiries to the bank on Wendy‘s behalf,” the statement read. “Wendy further believes that all of the false narratives currently making the rounds derive from this source and she is saddened that she once considered this person a friend.” LaShawn also said that the star had gone to great lengths to determine how all of this transpired. “She has spoken to several bank representatives and has even gone into a local branch and discussed this issue with bank managers, as clear evidence that there are no concerns about her state of mind,” the statement continues. “In fact, Wells Fargo’s alleged suspicions were never raised until Wendy made it known that she no longer wanted to bank at Wells Fargo due to the bank’s mishandling of her complaints against her advisor.” He also touched on how Wendy was currently doing, as she’s been on an extended break from The Wendy Williams Show. “During this hiatus from the show, Wen

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s CEB and India’s largest integrated energy company, NTPC signed the agreement for the joint development of the 100 MW Sampur Solar Power Plant yesterday (11).The Indian High Commission stated that the High Commissioner attend the signing of the agreement, along with 4 Ministers including the Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa and the newly-appointed Minister of Energy, Pavithra Wanniarachchi.In a press release, the Indian High commission noted that during the visit of Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa to India last year, both sides had resolved to enhance investments from India in various sectors in Sri Lanka that would contribute to growth and expand employment, and the Sampur Solar Power Project is an important step in this direction.The Ministers attested to the strength of India-Sri Lanka economic partnership for mutual prosperity, including through cooperation in renewable energy, the High Commission added.Moreover, the High Commission noted that cooperation with Sri Lanka in this domain will only become stronger with the implementation of the US$ 100 million Line of Credit offered by India to Sri Lanka for development of solar power projects in Sri Lanka.
