LAS VEGAS - New details were released Thursday on the DUI arrest of former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch from earlier this week in Las Vegas. On Aug. 9 before 7:30 a.m, an officer was conducting a vehicle stop on a car for a man asleep behind the wheel.According to a police report, the car had significant damage, with no rim or tire on the driver’s side front wheel, with dents and dings on the rear driver’s side wheel that about to fall off and the front passenger rim and tire that was almost off. The officer noticed the car was not running but the car had a push button to start and the keys were with the driver. The driver, who was later identified as Lynch, was asleep behind the wheel with the driver’s door open and leaning back in the seat, documents said. Investigators noted Lynch would speak and fell in and out of sleep several times throughout the encounter. According to the police report, the officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the car and Lynch, his eyes were bloodshot and watery, and he had one shoe on.  Lynch told the officer that he was "not drinking and he does not do drugs, but that he stole the vehicle," documents said. The report said the responding officer asked Lynch if he would exit the car, he refused and became uncooperative.

Philadelphia police are offering a reward in the search for a homicide suspect.

PHILADELPHIA - As the family of Ellen Greenberg searches for answers more than 10 years after her death, the Chester County District Attorney's Office is now taking over the case. Greenberg, a school teacher, was found stabbed to death inside her Manayunk apartment in January 2011.Her death came just a few days after she sent out save the dates for her upcoming wedding. Officials initially ruled her death as a suicide before changing it to homicide. Then, the medical examiner's office switched the matter of death back to suicide, but Greenberg's parents, Sandee and Josh, were determined to keep pushing for answers. They maintained that Greenberg could not have stabbed herself that many times."I want my daughter's name cleared, because there's no way that she could have done that to herself," Sandee Greenberg said on Good Day Philadelphia in 2021. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESGreenberg's parents filed a lawsuit against the medical examiner's office and were granted a non-jury trial to try and get the cause of death changed back to homicide or marked as "undecided." Tom Brennan, a private investigator, joined Greenberg's parents on Good Day Philadelphia and said Ellen's fiance's uncle removed items from the apartment after the crime scene was cleared, including two laptops and a cell phone. "Right then and there, that negates that chain of evidence," Brennan said. "That adversely impacts the chain of evidence on those devices so that anything that's discovered on those devices can be challenged in court."According to Brennan, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office promised to provide a forensic analysis of Ellen's laptop, but the family never received a report.

WASHINGTON - Falling gas prices gave Americans a slight break from the pain of high inflation last month, though the surge in overall prices slowed only modestly from the four-decade high it reached in June.Consumer prices jumped 8.5% in July compared with a year earlier, the government said Wednesday, down from a 9.1% year-over-year jump in June. On a monthly basis, prices were unchanged from June to July, the smallest such rise more than two years.Still, prices are spiking across a wide range of goods and services, leaving most Americans worse off.

DELAND, Fla. - A naked Florida man who was armed with a machete when he allegedly tried to steal another man's clothes was arrested Monday morning at a DeLand gas station, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office. Shortly before 10 a.m., deputies arrived to an area near the Volusia County Fairgrounds after a surveyor working in the area said the suspect – later identified as 34-year-old Brandon Wright – was picking palmetto berries in the woods, and suddenly approached him with a large machete-style knife and demanded his clothes, wallet and phone. When the surveyor began to comply with Wright's demands, Wright reportedly threw the machete at him, along with a handful of palmetto berries, before taking off into the brush and then into a white Dodge Challenger. Deputies said the handle of the machete bounced off the surveyor's chest, leaving him uninjured. Moments later, Wright's vehicle passed a license plate reader in the DeLand area and soon after, law enforcement received a report of a naked man outside a gas station on S.

SKYFOX over homes in New Jersey after a drought watch was issued for the entire state.  NEW JERSEY - Residents and businesses in the state of New Jersey are being urged to conserve water as the state deals with a drought caused by days of extreme heat. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announced the statewide drought on Tuesday in a Facebook post. "We urge residents and businesses to conserve water as persistent dry and hot conditions continue to stress water supplies throughout the state," the agency wrote on Facebook.
