Waterford FC have suspended all activity after a second player at the club reported Covid-19 symptoms. The Blues' scheduled Premier Divison game against Sligo Rovers this evening was postponed when it emerged yesterday that a player at the club was undergoing testing after reporting symptoms.
A second player has now also reported symptoms as the club awaits the result of both tests. An FAI statement said that the player had reported suspected Covid-19 symptoms to the club this morning and had not been involved with the first team for their league win at Shelbourne last Saturday.
