EXTON, Pa. - Surveillance video shows the moment police say two shoplifters were wrested into custody after they tried to steal thousands in perfume from a Pennsylvania Ulta.In a Facebook post on Friday, the West Whiteland Police Department said they received information about a plan to steal $10k in fragrances from an Ulta in Exton.

Detective Scott Pezick told FOX 29 that his department was told to be on the lookout for a red Nissan Altima thought to be linked to other Ulta thefts.

Perzick said authorities called the Ulta on Swedesford Road in Exton to let employees know that their store could be targeted."I called them, told them what was happening, they asked what they should do, I said just make sure everybody's safe in there," Perzick said.

Officers from the West Whiteland Police Department staked out in the Ulta parking lot on Friday morning and spotted the red Altima.

PHILADELPHIA - An off-duty police officer was carjacked at gunpoint early Friday morning and the car was found on fire. Chief Inspector Scott Small says the carjacking happened around 12:15 a.m., officers with the 12th District responded to numerous calls for a carjacking, shots fired and an auto accident at the intersection of 56th and Pentridge Streets in Kingsessing. When police arrived on scene, they found an off-duty officer who said he was parking his Silver 2020 Toyota Highlander when a suspect with a gun stopped him, reached into his pockets to grab his keys and then stole his vehicle, authorities say. Man, 42, struck by marked police vehicle in Toms River, Ocean County Prosecutor says

(Credit: FOX TV Stations) TOMS RIVER, N.J. - The Office of the Ocean County Prosecutor says it is investigating a crash where a pedestrian was struck by a police vehicle. According to authorities, on Sunday around 10 p.m., officers with the Toms River Township Police Department were notified that a person was hit by a marked Toms River police vehicle. Police say the incident happened in the area of Fischer Boulevard and Adams Avenue. Officials say the prosecutor's office conducted an investigation and determined 42-year-old William Carberry of Toms River was trying to cross Fischer Boulevard when he was struck by a Toms River Township Police vehicle. Carberry was transported to Community Medical Center before being flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment, where he is in stable condition, authorities say.
