YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - A herd of bison was captured on camera escorting several calves across a road in Yellowstone National Park.The herd crossed US-212 inside the park in Wyoming in late May, according to Toby Tollefsen, who recorded video of the moment.

The video shows cars pulled to the side of the road as dozens of bison pass by and make their way up a hill.RELATED: Watch: Adorable red wolf pups learn to howl from parentsYellowstone, which is home to the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 states, has somewhere between 2,500 to 5,500 bison within the park, according to National Park Service officials.

Yellowstone is also the only place in the U.S. where bison have lived continuously since prehistoric times.The reddish-brown calves are born in late April and May, after a gestation period of 9 to 9.5 months, NPS says.

I-95 collapse: Detours, road closures creating influx of traffic in nearby neighborhoods

PHILADELPHIA - Commuters in Philadelphia are adapting to new road closures and detours in the wake of the I-95 collapse that officials say will take months to repair. Some of the re-routed traffic, however, is being funneled onto tight streets in North Philadelphia that aren't equipped to handle the influx of traffic. A viewer photo given to FOX 29 News shows the aftermath of a tractor trailer coming down the tight confines of Westmoreland Street and tearing down a cable line. The traffic chaos has caused neighbors in Bridesburg to take matters into their own hands by placing cones and caution tape on the roadway to help direct traffic. "The people on the block here are trying to help people go the right way, because if they go all the way down towards Aramingo they may have to turn around and go towards traffic," Scott Simon said. "In order to keep them from going down that way, we have the cones which is forcing them to go the right way." Some of the road closures, according to neighbors, have caused drivers to become lost in unfamiliar parts of town which has raised safety concerns for residents with children. Alabama’s Orange Beach were suddenly visited by a group of hammerhead sharks over the weekend. A video recorded by Meredith Perry on June 10, showed about five hammerhead sharks swimming uncomfortably close to boaters, even prompting a few people who were wading in the shallow waters to jump back onto their boats. Perry also managed to get a photo of her fiance, Paul Hubble, standing in the water, attempting to get a closer look at the sharks. "At first it was a ‘hurry and get kids safe, etc.,’ but then I realized they were hammerheads and thought it would be cool to see how close I could get," Hubble told FOX TV Stations. PHILADELPHIA - Motorists who frequently use Interstate 95 should prepare to reroute their commute for the foreseeable future as crews work to repair a collapsed stretch of highway. "Just devastating honestly, the traffic is already pretty bad because 95 has been under construction for a while," Emily Orlando from Northeast Philadelphia told FOX 29.Officials say the collapse happened Sunday morning when a tanker truck hauling gasoline overturned underneath an overpass and exploded, causing the highway above to give way. The driver of the truck, identified told FOX 29 by family members as Nathaniel Moody, was killed in the explosion. Miraculously, however, there were no reported injuries to motorists or bystanders.
