Bollywood composer Wajid Khan has died aged 42. The movie music man, who was part of composing duo Sajid–Wajid, passed away at a hospital in Mumbai, India on Monday after being admitted with a severe kidney infection.

Khan, who had previously undergone a kidney transplant, spent four days on a ventilator after his condition deteriorated. His death was confirmed by fellow music composer Salim Merchant, who told news agency PTI: "He had multiple issues.
