LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Another mass shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, left two dead and four others wounded at a public park Saturday less than a week after the high-profile massacre at Old National Bank.Police said they are still actively searching for the person responsible for opening fire into a crowd of hundreds gathered in Chickasaw Park at approximately 9 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene to find at least two people deceased in the park from gunshot wounds. Police said another four were transported by either personal vehicle or by EMS to the University of Louisville Hospital.

DADEVILLE, Ala. - Local reports say a mass shooting in Dadeville, Alabama, has left multiple people dead and more than 20 people injured.Witnesses told The Alexander City Outlook newspaper the shooting happened Saturday night at a 16-year-old’s birthday party.The Tallapoosa County Coroner confirmed there are fatalities, according to a reporter for the ABC affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama. Authorities haven’t said how many people were shot or how many people have died, but a law enforcement source told WRBL that more than 20 people were hurt.Several victims were taken to a hospital in nearby Alexander City, the town’s newspaper reported. "At probably midnight, I was notified that we would be receiving patients into our hospital from an incident that occurred in Dadeville, and it would appear that we were going to have several patients coming.

PHILADELPHIA - An early morning crash ended with the death of four people and one man arrested Saturday.Police say the crash happened on the Schuylkill Expressway near the Roosevelt Boulevard exit around 1:45 a.m.According to officials with the Pennsylvania State Police, a car driven by a 31-year-old man crossed lanes of traffic, hitting another vehicle.The man’s car spun around and overturned several times before stopping on the right shoulder of the northbound Roosevelt Boulevard off-ramp.The car he hit was pushed forward into a bridge pillar on the highway, killing everyone inside, state troopers said.MORE HEADLINES:The 31-year-old driver is identified as Victor Spizzirri. PHILADELPHIA - What started as a passion for one Philadelphia woman, has given promise to dozens of girls in need of a loving, supportive home.Naima Powell has worked to change the lives of young people in Philadelphia for 20 years, and Saturday she unveiled her first center - a home for girls ages 10 to 17.The 3-bedroom house on Regent Street in Southwest Philadelphia will soon be home to six children whose families are unable to care for them.Powell, the found and director of Lighthouse Family Youth Agency, is determined to provide young girls with the comfort and security of knowing they are loved and supported. "Youth will come in through the welfare system, and our goal is to teach them and advocate with them to be the best versions of themselves," Powell said.She's been a foster mom for 20 years, providing a loving home for 15 years."My mom raised me since I was two months old after my biological mother wasn't really there for me, and built me into the person I am," said Divine Cannedy, Powell's daughter.As a social worker, Powell says her lifelong goal is to help children reach their full potential."Children between the ages of 10 to 17 need the guidance, need the support, they need people who are accepting of them," she said.

PHILADELPHIA - The maternal mortality rate is a growing problem in Philadelphia.On Saturday, organizations came together at Elon Tabernacle Church to in an effort to save local moms with a common theme of community and the sense of a village having each other's backs.Expectant mothers, current mothers and dads were made to feel like they can get through this wonderful journey by offering physical resources, such as bags filled with diapers, wipes and vitamins.Ebony Butler, a mother of a newborn, is grateful for the second annual Black Maternal Health Summit."Giving us the resources we might not have," said Butler.  "A day of relaxation getting to meet other mothers, midwives, doalas."The United States has become a leader in maternal mortality rates, but organizers like Latoya Dennis are working to change that."We’re certifying doulas, so if they are interested in becoming a doula we’d love to certify in Philly and every other city we go to," Dennis said.

PHILADELPHIA - Hours after a batch of recruits graduated the police academy to join Temple's police force, two incidents happened on campus that underscored the safety challenges facing the school. According to Temple police, a person with a gun was spotted by a security officer inside the cafeteria of Morgan Hall and was arrested by responding officers. Around the same time, police responded to a report of two individuals firing pellet guns at people near the intersection of Willington and Berks streets. Authorities have not reported any arrests. Temple University added eight new officers to its force on Friday.

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University and Philadelphia police are set to graduate new police officers as the city continues to deal with violent crime. The officers will graduate on Friday morning at McGonigle Hall. The addition of eight new officers brings the Temple Police force to more than 100, with the addition of 35 security officers in collaboration with the Philadelphia Police Department. This comes just one month after Temple University Police Sgt. CHERRY HILL, N.J. - A Camden County boy made an emotional plea for help at a recent school board meeting after he and his family claimed constant bullying and torment on the school bus has gone unaddressed.Ayden, a 12-year-old student at Beck Middle School in Cherry Hill, said the ridicule from students has included questions about his sexuality and gender identity. "I feel upset, angry, sad," Ayden told FOX 29's Dawn Timmeny. He claims one of his tormenters lunged at him when he used his cell phone to record the incessant bullying during a bus ride to school. "I mean, I'm very proud of myself, I think it's very important if any other kids are going through this," Ayden said.
