That child is expected to recover.Just after 10 p.m., police were called to a residence in Torresdale where a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg.

That man is in stable condition.Around 2:30, Sunday morning, police were called to a triple shooting in Logan, where two teens and a 63-year-old man were all injured.Police were then called to Strawberry Mansion about 6:15 Sunday morning, where a man and a woman were shot.

TRENTON, N.J. - Gas prices have halted their sharp rise just in time for the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend, and analysts say the record-high prices aren’t expected to keep travelers from taking to the road. AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey on Friday was $4.75, down two cents from last week. Drivers were paying $3.05 a gallon on average a year ago at this time. The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.59, unchanged from last week. Weather Authority: Spotted showers ahead of sunny, pleasant Memorial Day weekend

PHILADELPHIA - The storms are gone, making way for a sunny and beautiful Memorial Day weekend.Travelers fought the rainy weather on their way down the shore Friday night. Beachgoers brave nasty travel conditions to enjoy Memorial Day Weekend at shore

PHILADELPHIA - Afternoon storms didn't stop flocks of beachgoers from braving nasty weather conditions and traffic to get a jump start on Memorial Day Weekend.A cluster of strong storms barreled over parts of the Delaware Valley on Friday, brining heavy rain and severe weather warnings. The National Weather Service issued brief tornado warnings for a pair of New Jersey counties during rush hour. The storms couldn't have come at a worse time for vacationers eager to spend the long weekend enjoying the New Jersey shore.
