SALT LAKE CITY - Two Black Hawk helicopters were involved in a training accident on Tuesday near a Utah ski resort, officials said — and multiple witnesses to the incident captured the scene on video.

None of those aboard the helicopter nor the dozens of skiers nearby were injured, officials said.The accident, involving two UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, was reported around 9:30 a.m.

MST near Mineral Basin at Snowbird ski resort, located just outside of Salt Lake City. The Utah National Guard said in an initial statement that both helicopters were damaged.

Jared Jones, Utah National Guard aviation public affairs officer, said the helicopters had been conducting winter mountain training and were attempting to land in an approved zone just outside of the ski resort, and both experienced white-out conditions. "As they landed the snow kicked up and the aircraft probably lost sight of the ground," Jones said during a press conference.

Perkasie plane crash: Victims identified after deadly incident

PERKASIE, Pa. - Officials have released the identities of the two men killed in when a single-engine plane crashed in a Perkasie neighborhood.The men were identified as 74-year-old Alfred George Piranian, of Chalfont, and 55-year-old Brian Fillippini, of Philadelphia. Both men died as a result of injuries sustained during the crash. It was revealed Friday that a report from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), the small plane with the two men aboard took off from Doylestown Airport with a destination of Gunden Airstrip. An NTSB investigator told reporters Thursday that the plane was a commercial instructional flight with one person onboard training for their commercial pilot's license. No one on the ground was hurt, but the crash sent flying debris through the wall of a home and into a second-floor bedroom. Hilltown Township Police Officer Christopher Englehart called the pilot a hero for managing to avoid homes that dotted the residential neighborhood. Residents recalled hearing the plane's engine cut out as it made its deadly descent.

The nomination makes her the first Black woman selected to serve on a court that once declared her race unworthy of citizenship and endorsed segregation.In Jackson, Biden delivers on a campaign promise to make the historic appointment and to further diversify a court that was made up entirely of white men for almost two centuries. He has chosen an attorney who would be the high court's first former public defender, though she also possesses the elite legal background of other justices.Jackson would be the current court’s second Black justice — Justice Clarence Thomas, a conservative, is the other — and just the third in history.

Crews on scene of small plane crash in Hilltown Township

PERKASIE, Pa. - Emergency crews are on the scene of a small plane crash in a residential area in Bucks County. The charred remains of the plane in the middle of the plane lay near the intersection of Morgan Lane and Victoria Lane the Perkasie section of Hilltown Township. A vehicle parked nearby also had heavy front-end damage. Authorities responded Thursday to a small plane crash in a residential part of Bucks County.
