The UK's total coronavirus death toll has risen by 12 in the last 24 hours in the lowest Tuesday rise since lockdown began.
More than 1,000 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, as a total 41,381 people have now tragically died of Covid-19 in all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the community.
Eleven people died in England, one in Northern Ireland, and there were no new deaths in Wales or Scotland in the past 24 hours.
The number of new positive Covid-19 tests also rose on Tuesday, by 1,089 following 169,276 tests. New cases had increased by 713 on Monday.
