Vehicle hire company Uber has now offered 28,000 free trips to and from the seven mass vaccination centres in the country to help people receive the jab.
The promotion extends to all trips, including wheelchair-accessible Uber Access vehicles and Uber Assist vehicles for those needing assistance in getting into and out of the car - to the value of £15.While working in partnership with Age UK, volunteers who are accompanying older people to their vaccination appointments will also be eligible for free credits added to their Uber account.
