Tyson Fury has admitted he "didn't want to be alive" during the height of his mental health struggles as he reflected on his route back to the pinnacle of boxing.

The 31-year-old has overcome a well-publicised battle with depression and addictions that saw his weight balloon to over 28 stone and on the brink of suicide.

After a near death experience where he almost drive his car into a bridge at high speed, Fury turned his life around before making a miraculous return to the ring.

Since then the Gypsy King has restored himself as the no.1 heavyweight in the world after beating previously unbeaten former champion Deontay Wilder to win the WBC title.
