RUSSELL Howard left Good Morning Britain viewers shocked after he was caught swigging on a can of cider at 9.15am. The comedian, 40, sipped on the drink during an interview with Lorraine Kelly on the show today.

Russell told viewers he was was forced to miss out on his brother's stag do due to the coronavirus. However, the star was still looking to celebrate the special occasion from his home in Bath as he cracked open a can during the chat with the Scottish presenter.

GMB viewers were left in hysterics over the moment. One wrote on Twitter: "Anyone else notice @russellhoward drinking cider on good morning Britain?

I suppose its 12 o'clock somewhere Face with tears of joy." Another said: "Love that @russellhoward is drinking cider at 9am.
