The person was treated as a result of "quick actions by numerous crews," they said."Feel like" temperatures in parts of Texas could reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit Thursday as an unseasonal heat wave strikes Texas and parts of the South.When leaving the facility, one of the paramedics from an outside agency also went into cardiac arrest.

NORTH WILDWOOD, NJ. - North Wildwood fire crews responded to a house fire that caused one fatality on Thursday afternoon.Authorities say fire crews responded to a reported structure fire at 2203 New York Avenue at 4:16 p.m., and police officers on the scene informed them of a potential victim trapped inside. Firefighters on scene described the structure as a 1 ½ story residence with smoke and fire showing. Fire crews initiated an aggressive interior fire attack as a search for people began and firefighters found a victim in a rear bedroom after four minutes, according to officials.Authorities say firefighters evacuated the victim through a window, then moved them to a stretcher and initiated CPR. The victim was then transported by ambulance to Cape Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m. No additional injuries were reported. Officials say the fire was placed under control around 4:30 p.m. The Cape May County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating. This is a developing story. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating a spate of violent abductions and robberies that they believe may have been carried out by members of the same group.The Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victim's Unit outlined three incidents that happened within a 24-hour period between Tuesday and Wednesday. Authorities say a woman was walking along the 1200 block of Academy Road around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday when she was robbed at gunpoint and forced into a U-Haul van by four gunmen. Several items were taken from the victim, according to police, and she was punched in the face and shot at twice as she exited the U-Haul van. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESA short time later, investigators say a man was using a drive-thru ATM machine at a TD Bank of the 6300 block of Roosevelt Boulevard when he was boxed in by a U-Haul cargo van. Two gunmen exited the van and demanded the victim to withdraw money from the ATM before stealing his 2011 Mercades-Benz. The suspects in both incidents are described by police as 3-4 Black males in the late teens or early 20s.

He will also have to serve three years of supervised release after prison.Musbach pleaded guilty in February to using interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire plot.He began communicating online with the girl in 2015 and eventually began using those chats to request and receive sexually explicit videos and photographs of the girl, and send her similar videos and images of himself.

PHILADELPHIA - A young man has died at a Philadelphia hospital after being shot multiple times, police say. According to authorities, the shooting erupted on the 3100 block of North Stillman Street in the North Philadelphia section of the city on Tuesday at 9:42 p.m. Police say officers with the 39th District responded and found a 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his head, chest and back. The victim, later identified as Nadir Smith of North Philadelphia, was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 11 p.m. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficials say the scene was held, no weapon was recovered and no arrest was made. The investigation is ongoing and active with the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Detective Unit.
