This Morning's Phillip Schofield has found himself the subject of viewer complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom, after the presenter made a passing comment about Donald Trump on air.
Last week, Schofield surprised viewers during a segment on COVID-19 and potential treatments, after the US president declared to the press that he was taking anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine in a bid to ward off the virus.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recently suspended its testing of the drug as a possible treatment after a recent medical study suggested it could actually increase the risk of patients dying.
After playing a clip of Trump saying that he takes the medication and he's "still here", Schofe interjected and noted that Trump is "sadly,
