In the UK, seaweed has long been that slimy green plant that makes you shudder when you swim across it during your annual dip.
It grows along rocky shorelines all over the world and as a rich source of vitamins and minerals it’s been popular in Asian cuisine for centuries.
And the Duchess of Cambridge seems to be well aware of how the green stuff can benefit her glowing skin and famous glossy mane.
She was spotted feasting on it at an official function last year, and after the birth of baby George back in 2013, she reportedly enjoyed pampering facials containing seaweed while she recuperated at her parents Berkshire home.
