According to the latest data from Public Health England, the virus transmission rate has risen in Trafford, Salford and Tameside.
The infection rate has fallen in the region's seven other boroughs - Bolton, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Stockport and Wigan.
As a whole, the coronavirus infection rate for Greater Manchester stands at 34 per 100,000. This is higher than the national average of 23.8.
