The latest coronavirus infection rates across Greater Manchester as concern continues to mount over Bolton

They are Bolton, Trafford, Rochdale and Wigan. Bolton now has the second highest infection rate in the country after Hyndburn in Lancashire, figures on Friday from Public Health England showed.

Surge testing is set to take place in the borough after a rapid rise in the town's Covid infection rate. Speaking to the M.E.N.

earlier this week, Bolton MP Yasmin Qureshi said that Bolton residents had been initially 'reluctant' to get vaccinated but warned people not to ignore he restrictions. "We need to be vigilant and careful," she said,
