Watch: Sharks startle Alabama swimmers back into their boats

Alabama’s Orange Beach were suddenly visited by a group of hammerhead sharks over the weekend. A video recorded by Meredith Perry on June 10, showed about five hammerhead sharks swimming uncomfortably close to boaters, even prompting a few people who were wading in the shallow waters to jump back onto their boats. Perry also managed to get a photo of her fiance, Paul Hubble, standing in the water, attempting to get a closer look at the sharks. "At first it was a ‘hurry and get kids safe, etc.,’ but then I realized they were hammerheads and thought it would be cool to see how close I could get," Hubble told FOX TV Stations. WICHITA, Kansas - John Mounce of Wichita, Kansas, was hoping for a big catch when he went fishing over the Memorial Day weekend, and the water did not disappoint. While using sonar equipment to find the best spot to cast his reel at Cheney Lake, he found a Jeep buried underwater. Turned out the Jeep was stolen and is now a part of a criminal investigation. Zoey, a labrador/German shepherd mix, from the greater New Orleans area, officially claimed the record for longest tongue on a living dog, according to the Guinness World Records – which noted how the pup’s tongue is longer than a soda can. Her owners added how the tongue length is most obvious after playing outside and panting. "It would be slobbering all over the place," Drew Williams added. The average avocado weighs about 6 ounces, according to Guinness officials.Last year, the couple took Zoey to the veterinarian it measured, from the tip of her snout to the tip of her tongue.Zoey’s owners said some of the dog’s favorite activities include being outside, fetching balls, chasing squirrels, car rides, and swimming in the canal. "She will pretty much go fetch anything you throw and swim in any body of water that’s available," Drew Williams told GWR.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - A drone on the lookout for sharks in the Gulf of Mexico captured the moment a small shark circled a man and child who were swimming at an Alabama beach.Drone video from 15-year-old Jackson Silvio shows the man and child going further out into the water at Orange Beach on May 29 as the shark follows and eventually swims out to sea. At one point, the shark was within a few feet of the swimmers.It’s not uncommon to spot sharks near the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico, according to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Tourism.

Woman shoots husband to death in broad daylight at Bristol Borough Wharf: DA

BRISTOL, Pa. - A Bucks County woman is facing charges after authorities say she shot and killed her husband at a local park Tuesday morning. Sammar Khan, 40, is accused of shooting 38-year-old Faisal Iqbal during what witnesses described to police as an argument at Bristol Borough Wharf. It's alleged that Khan, a Levittown resident, and Iqbal were talking near the coastline when Khan started speaking loudly in another language. Witnesses reported hearing a ‘pop sound’ followed by Khan and Iqbal wrestling. More gunshots were heard by witnesses before Khan and Iqbal started walking towards the parking lot, police said.MORE LOCAL HEADLINESIqbal asked a witness to call 911, at which time police say Khan shot Iqbal twice which caused him to collapse in the grassy area between the water and parking lot. It's alleged that as Iqbal laid on the ground defenseless, Khan walked over and shot him twice in the torso and once in the head. Responding officers from the Bristol Borough Police Department found Khan with blood on her clothing.
