Sydney wedding sparks outrage after guests refuse to follow Coronavirus restriction rules

Despite venue staff asking guests to follow their Covid-safe rules, they allegedly refused. As a result, the venue’s management have said multiple guests were asked to leave the premises.

While weddings are currently allowed to go ahead in NSW, only 150 guests can be present and strict social distancing rules apply.

The NSW Government website says: “Weddings will be limited to 150 people subject to the four square metre rule and registration as a COVID Safe business. “Strict COVID-19 Safety plans must be in place and high-risk activities including choirs and dancing must not occur.

Measures are in force from 12:01am Friday 24 July 2020.” The Covid safe suggestions from the Government, also advise that the bride and groom should be the only.
