Surveillance video shows theft of catalytic converters from school buses in Burlington County

WESTAMPTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The Westampton Township Police Department has released surveillance footage showing the theft of twelve catalytic converters from the Burlington County Special Services School.

The incident happened between September 17 and September 20. Police say that 12 catalytic converters were cut from the remaining exhaust systems of the buses that are owned by the school district.

In the video, a car appears to be driving around the parking lot. In a separate show, there appears to be two individuals walking around that same parking lot and approaching the buses.

The video does not depict the actual event of the catalytic converters being removed. The cost to replace the catalytic converters that were stolen is not yet.
