Click here for more news and sport from the Stirling area.A Scottish Courts and Tribunals (SCTS) spokesperson said this week: “Covid-19 and the resulting national lockdown led to restrictions in criminal business due to physical distancing measures and the need to reduce footfall within our court buildings.“This is not limited to Stirling but impacts across Scotland and other criminal jurisdictions.“As a result there is a reduction in the business in 2020/21 compared to previous years.“SCTS will be working with all justice partners to move forward to progress the outstanding criminal business, while prioritising the health and safety of all our court users.”.
