After the first live show of the season aired this weekend, there has already been an outbreak of Covid-19 on the set of Strictly Come Dancing, with celebrity Tom Fletcher testing positive for the virus.

This news comes just one day after Tom performed his first dance, the cha cha, alongside his partner Amy Dowden, as he said it was ‘an honour’ to open the first show.

However, the McFly singer began to feel unwell following the show, and therefore, he had to cancel his planned performance with the boyband, but the concert is still going ahead.

Revealing the sad news to their followers, Mcfly wrote: ‘Unfortunately Tom is unwell and won’t be onstage with us tonight in Glasgow.
