Ian Brown has pulled out of a festival, sharing his anger at a Covid vaccination rule put in place as a condition for entry.
The former Stone Roses frontman made it clear he wasn't happy when organisers of the Neighbourhood Weekender festival in Warrington said attendees would have to prove they've been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Bosses confirmed on Wednesday that the festival would be moved from May to September due to the pandemic and said they would "comply with conditions" that had been set out by the government through the local authority.
Singer Ian, 58, who has been critical of Covid vaccines, later took to Twitter to let fans know he was cancelling his appearance at the gig.
