Still Game star Gavin Mitchell has praised Covid vaccines after becoming ill with the virus since receiving both jags. The Scottish actor, who is famed for his role as Boaby the Barman, came down with symptoms of Covid after recording a positive test.Gavin, who is 56-years-old, was lucky to have been given both doses of the vaccine at this point.
Writing on Twitter, he feared that his symptoms could have been a lot worse if he didn’t take up the jags. He said: “I’ve had both my vaccines and followed the rules but unfortunately still tested positive and still got ill.“However, I shudder to think where I would be without the vaccine; having already lost friends.”Gavin later went on to mention that he knows of people his age who have.
