St Helens have another game postponed due to Covid cases at rival club

St Helens' game against Hull KR has been postponed after fresh coronavirus cases left Rovers unable to fulfil the fixture. As first reported by Hull Live, the match was left in serious doubt after players who featured in Friday’s win over Wigan Warriors tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend.

It has now emerged that as many as three individuals returned positive results, in addition to the two already reported last week.

Nine other members of Tony Smith’s squad have been forced to self-isolate after being classed as close contacts, including players who had selected by the Combined Nations All Stars for the game against England.
