Spider-Man: No Way Home is already a massive success and is on track to become the top-grossing movie of 2021 in just three days of release.
The movie opened in theaters on Friday (December 17) and earned the second biggest opening day of all time, even with the pandemic still raging on. Click inside for the numbers… No Way Home grosses $121.5 million on Friday, including the $50 million gross from Thursday night’s preview showings.
The only other movie to have a bigger opening day is Avengers: Endgame, which opened to $157 million back in 2019. THR reports that No Way Home is on track to earn around $250 million for the full opening weekend, which will give it the third or fourth biggest opening weekend of all time.
