DALLAS - Southwest Airlines canceled hundreds of more flights on Monday after a weekend filled with "operational challenges" and severe weather left thousands of customers facing delays and cancelations.

The Dallas-based airline has canceled 348 flights Monday and delayed another 303 flights, according to FlightAware, a website that tracks cancellations and delays.On Sunday, Southwest Airlines canceled more than 1,000 flights, or 29% of its schedule, due to air traffic control issues and weather challenges at its Florida airports.
