PHILADELPHIA - A third-degree murder warrant has been approved for the bouncer who punched a man, who later died, outside a bar in Center City, a law enforcement source tells FOX 29's Kelly Rule.

Police say surveillance video from Apr.16 shows 41-year-old Eric Pope being escorted out of Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar in Center City around 1 a.m.

for being overly intoxicated. While standing along South 12th Street, police say the bouncer punched him, knocking him to the ground unconscious.Eric Pope, 41, died after law enforcement source say he was punched by Philadelphia bar bouncer.

The Houston girls were malnourished and physically abused over an extended time, according to court documents.Soledad Mendoza, 29, and Ruben "Alex" Moreno, 29, were taken into custody last week and are both charged with capital murder – under 10 years of age for the death of Melanie Mendoza and two counts of injury to a child for her twin sister.Houston Police say the girl died on the night of December 21, 2020, after she was taken to Memorial Hermann - Memorial City Hospital with multiple injuries and bruises by Houston Fire Department paramedics.RELATED: 10-month-old baby girl dies after being left in car for several hoursOfficers responded to a welfare check at the hospital for reports of a deceased child, where they found the victims were grossly emaciated and had signs of malnutrition or starvation and multiple injuries, including chronic rib fractures.Despite being 8-years-old, they both only weighed less than 30 pounds, wore diapers, and were "extremely malnourished and unkempt."Investigators say that there were two other siblings in the household, 7 and 12 years old, who were seemingly in perfect health, including a younger sibling who was physically bigger than the twins.

A Motel 41 employee told the media outlet that a customer stayed in the room Sunday night after the motel had already received 25 phone calls from customers about the room’s availability the same day. RELATED: Alabama jailbreak mystery deepens as Casey White manhunt ends with deathThe going rate for the room the duo stayed in is $75 to $100 per night, which is slightly higher compared to regular motel room rates that cost $65 a night, WAAY-TV reported.The employee went on to say that motel employees removed the room number sign where Casey and Vicky were staying in after someone tried to swipe it. Casey White, 38, escaped from the Lauderdale County Detention Center in Florence, Alabama, on April 29.
