The acting chief medical officer Dr Ronan Glynn has confirmed that over 90 percent of new Covid-19 cases in Ireland have had their source of transmission identified, describing it as "positive".
Only four of the 53 latest infections were classed as community transmission, with 45 being associated with outbreaks or close contacts of a confirmed case.
