The SNP Health Secretary Humza Yousaf has been accused of scrapping a group on remobilising the health service in Scotland following the covid pandemic.
Scottish Labour has revealed through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request that future meetings this year have been cancelled.
It comes as the NHS deals with a crisis in A&E and with ambulances where military personnel and firefighters are being asked to drive vehicles for the stretched service.
Labour's Jackie Baillie called the decision by the government "unthinkably reckless" as she hit out at Health Secretary Humza Yousaf over his inaction on the group.
