SURFSIDE, Fla. - Footage taken moments after part of a condominium building collapsed in Surfside, Florida last month captured people shouting for help.
David Araujo began recording at the site shortly after the Champlain Towers South building collapsed on June 24. In his footage, people can be heard shouting, ‘Help!’ and, ‘I can’t get out!’ People down on the street below can be heard desperately shouting back at those in the still-standing apartments to use the stairs.
