Sheridan Smith to star in tell-all doc on mental health and motherhood journey

ITV has announced Sheridan Smith will star in her very own tell-all documentary later this year, . Described as a "deeply personal film," the doc will chart Sheridan's mental health battles that led to a public breakdown in 2016.

The 39-year-old will also allow viewers an insight into her pregnancy and motherhood journey as she gave birth to son Billy in May.

The one-hour long show promises "aspects of Sheridan's own story that she has never spoken about before". She meets Dr Alain Gregoire, a psychiatrist and chair of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance.
