COLOMBO (News 1st) – A Sri Lankan delegation has left the island with the aim of participating in the annual summit of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington, USA.The delegation is headed by the State Minister of Finance, Shehan Semasinghe, and includes eight representatives.
The delegation also includes several high-ranking officials including the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank.The conference, which starts on 10th October, is scheduled to be held until 16th October..
