Sharp rise in Child Hospitalizations

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health stated that a rapid increase has been noted in the rate of children being admitted to hospitals with Dengue, COVID-19 and viral fever.

The Deputy Director of Health Services and Director of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, Dr. G. Wijesuriya stated that a majority of children have been hospitalised due to Dengue Fever.
