Millions of people had their working lives transformed dramatically as we were forced into lockdown. Many are still facing all kinds of changes as things gradually ease and we try to get back to some sort of normality.

Currently, 22% of people are working fewer hours and 27% have been furloughed, while 7% have been forced to close their own businesses temporarily.

Overall, more than two out of five people say that their work has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. And while many of these jobs have been protected by government schemes, there are already signs that huge numbers of them are still at risk.
