MORRISVILLE, N.C. - A 23-year-old man died Friday afternoon after he jumped or fell out of a plane before it made an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.Authorities said the pilot called air traffic control about an hour before making the emergency landing and said the plane had lost its right wheel."Emergency, we’ve lost our right wheel," the pilot told air traffic controllers. "We’d like to speak to Raleigh and make an emergency landing at Raleigh."The pilot pulled off the landing and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Fire Marshal is investigating a house fire that left two dead early Friday morning, According to fire officials, the fire broke out on the 1000 block of Dorset Street in East Mount Airy. A man was transported to Einstein Hospital and a woman was transported to Temple University Hospital, per fire authorities. Both were inside the house when it was on fire and they later died, according to officials. This is a developing story.

The family of 44-year-old Maurice Pinkard gave an emotional plea about getting justice for the husband, father and grandfather fatally struck by a vehicle in Upper Chichester Township.  UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The family of a 44-year-old man killed in a hit and run in Pennsylvania is making an emotional plea for people to come forward with information. Police say troopers responded to mile marker 2.4 on I-95 north in Upper Chichester Township on Saturday around 9:12 p.m. According to authorities, troopers found Maurice Pinkard, a motorcycle and a pick-up truck after they were all struck by a vehicle. State Police say a 44-year-old man died after he was fatally struck by a blue Ford F-150 that veered into the shoulder and hit him on Saturday night. PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that they say happened Wednesday night in South Philadelphia. At around 6:54 p.m., police say they responded to the 1800 block of Sigel Street for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, authorities say they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck. Police transported the victim to Presbyterian Hospital where they say he was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m. No arrest was made in this incident and no weapon was recovered.

HOUSTON - New details are emerging regarding an accused predator that allegedly took an 11-year-old girl from her Missouri City home.27-year-old Jose Paniagua is now charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14. RELATED: Six men charged with solicitation of minors in Houston-areaAccording to court records, he bound the 11-year-old's hands and forced himself on her several times after first meeting the little girl online earlier this month. "So for the parents watching out there, if your kid is 13-years-old or younger, no social media whatsoever," says Tech Expert Juan Guevara Torres. That’s the recommendation from tech professionals like Torres, because it was in the chatting app Discord where the 11-year-old victim is said to have met accused sexual predator, 27-year-old Jose Paniagua, who is actually on probation in a different county for online solicitation of a minor. MORE CRIME AND PUBLIC SAFETYAccording to court records, the 11-year-old first thought she was talking and meeting up with a 13-year-old boy. Those court documents say on July 9 at Paniagua’s Houston apartment the 11-year-old was forced to have intercourse multiple times and her hands were bound with a leather belt. A sexual assault nurse quoted in court documents say markings were left on the child's wrists. Also, according to those legal records, Paniagua told police he picked up the 11-year-old and took her to his apartment several times beginning July 3, after meeting the 11-year-old online and Paniagua told investigators he first thought the little girl was a 22-year-old woman."When you’re 13 and below, you are very trusting, and you’re developing a lot of the street smarts.

Jonathan Woody, 40, has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting from 2014.  TRENTON, N.J. - A Trenton man has been arrested and charged eight years after the alleged deadly shooting, police say. According to police, Jonathan Woody, 40, was arrested and charged for the 2014 murder of Jamer Greenfield. Authorities say Woody has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, murder and related charges. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says Woody was arrested in Trenton on Monday and a motion has been filed to detain him pending trial, officials say. Police say the shooting occurred on July 19, 2014, around 5 a.m. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAuthorities say Trenton police officers were in the area of Rosemont Avenue when they heard gunshots and saw a large group of people running from the 200 block of the street. Officers approached the scene and found Greenfield, who was 23 at the time, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, including a shot to the chest, according to police. Officials say Greenfield was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. "Eight years, and they never stopped," Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

HAIFA BAY, Israel - From afar, it looks like white dots scattered across the water, but up close, those are actually jellyfish— too many of them to count. The stunning video near Haifa Bay, Israel was released by the Nature and Parks Authority.Authorities said on Twitter that human activity contributed to the multiplication of jellyfish including climate change, pollution, dumping waste into the sea and harming predators of jellyfish such as sea turtles.RELATED: Birmingham Zoo: Lioness killed while meeting male lionAccording to Reuters, the jellyfish are posing a nuisance by keeping swimmers away and clogging desalination plants and industrial fishing nets."The water gets hotter and hotter and we can see more and more jellyfish," Guy Lavian, a marine ranger with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, told Reuters.
