The Scottish Government has confirmed no people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. It keeps the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – at 9,719.The latest figures for Scotland show 4,002 new cases had been identified overnight.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 765,902.Currently there are 541 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 37 being treated in intensive care.To date 4,362,468 people have received their first vaccination, with 3,973,761 having a second jab and 2,116,228 having a third dose or booster.
