There are 516 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 38 being treated in intensive care.No new deaths were recorded, however register offices are typically closed on weekends.Test positivity is currently at 15.2 per cent.4,372,129 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 3,993,642 their second dose and 2,561,480 have got a third dose or booster.
This comes as First Minister Nicola Sturgeon expressed her disappointed that neither the Prime Minister nor the Chancellor was on a call to devolved nations about the state of the coronavirus pandemic in the UK.
