Scottish Government announces 11 deaths and 1,307 covid cases in last 24 hours

Scottish Government has confirmed that 11 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, The latest figures for Scotland showed that 1,307 new cases had also been identified overnight.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 7,848.There are currently 478 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 60 being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 337,471.To date 3,994,883 people have received their first vaccination with 3,064,441 having a second jab.The figures come after a public health expert controversially told the public to delete the app that informs them they need to.
