Scottish Government announce 2,932 new covid cases and 20 deaths in last 24 hours

The Scottish Government has confirmed there have been 2,932 new Covid-19 cases in the latest 24 hour period. According to the latest figures for Scotland there were 20 new deaths recorded.

A total of 712 people were in hospital with the virus, and 61 patients were in intensive care. To date, xxxx people have received their first vaccination with 3,942,927 having had a second jab.It comes after Nicola Sturgeon announced changes to the Covid vaccine passport scheme during a speech at Holyrood on Tuesday.Since last month, Scots have been required to show evidence they have had at least two doses of the coronavirus vaccine to gain entry into a number of ‘high risk’ venues or events.
