Scotland's care homes are in crisis as deaths from coronavirus spiral and staff raise fears over lack of protective equipment.But First Minister Nicola Sturgeon last night urged families not to remove their loved ones from homes.She spoke as Castle View in Dumbarton suffered 11 deaths amid a corona outbreak and unions raised concerns about a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff.Deaths were also reported at homes in Glasgow, Dundee and Lanarkshire – coming on top of 16 deaths reported at Burlington Court in Cranhill, Glasgow, at the weekend.Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Gregor Smith admitted the virus “appears to love institutions” such as care homes and hospitals.He added: “We are very aware that the possibility of
