Managers at a Scots care home where 11 people have died in 10 days have been accused on ‘locking masks away’ and ‘belittling’ staff for taking temperatures of residents.
The shocking accusations have been made against the management at coronavirus -hit Castleview Care Home in Dumbarton in a letter from union GMB Scotland.
Regional Secretary Gary Smith made the allegations in a letter to Scottish Labour deputy leader, and Dumbarton MSP, Jackie Baillie.The union have also contacted the care home owners HC One.
A spokesman for Scottish Labour said it raised “serious concerns over the lack of Personal Protective Equipment and possible negligence”.
