A report by professors at Stirling University and Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen highlights the lack of funding in Scotland to help those suffering.
The academics are calling for an “urgent” investment of cash to help those suffering from the debilitating condition. While vaccination is helping to prevent serious cases and deaths from Covid, the numbers of people experiencing symptoms of Long Covid appears to be increasing.A recent study found 38 per cent of people with Covid-19 had at least one enduring symptom 12 weeks later.
